A strong cold front will be approaching the region today and moving through later in the day. There’ll be showers in the morning, then some sunshine before a line of thunderstorms comes late in the evening. SPC has us in slight risk for severe weather. I don’t think it’s a widespread event, but I can’t rule out an isolated storm with some damaging winds. It remains cloudy overnight tonight then the sunshine returns for Saturday. Despite the sunshine, it will be breezy and quite cool. As we head through the end of the weekend and through much of next week high pressure will be in control with mostly sunny days and mainly clear nights.
