Daily Forecast Discussion
After a quiet few day. things get active again this week. For today. a weak upper-level shortwave and weak surface wave bring us the chance for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms into the evening. For tomorrow, a much more vigorous shortwave approaches and triggers a stronger surface wave to form. Dew points will rise and as the aforementioned shortwave approaches it will push a cold front our way. It looks like the upper-level low mat cut off. If it does, that will bring us thunderstorms with heavy rain and severe weather possible through Wednesday. Heights will still be low enough Thursday for lingering showers. We finally settle down Friday.Â
