Warm temperatures through Wednesday, then unsettled late in the week...

An early leftover shower and morning clouds will give way to sun Wednesday as the front clears to the north, and high temperatures getting into the lower to middle 80s. An isolated thunderstorm will be possible in a few spots during the afternoon, then clear skies in the evening will give way to increasing clouds overnight.

A system to our west on Wednesday will move along an existing boundary and bring more numerous scattered showers and perhaps thunderstorms on Thursday, with showers continuing into the overnight. A trailing shortwave and its associated cold front moves through on Friday with scattered showers, then high pressure will attempt to clear things out for the start of the weekend along with cooler conditions. Partly to mostly cloudy skies on Saturday with nothing more than a stray shower in a few spots, then a weak shortwave will pass through the region Saturday night and Sunday with mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers. Sunny to partly cloudy with warming temperatures to begin the new work week both Monday and Tuesday.
