Bobby Martrich
Bobby began his passion for weather as a toddler, fascinated with thunderstorms and snowstorms. Immediately following high school he enlisted in the US Army, where he completed 6 years of honorable service, 4 years active duty, and 2 years in the PA National Guard. During this time, he gained hands-on experience in real-world weather forecasting operations, as a weather observer/aviation weather forecaster at several major US Army Airfields. After the Army, he studied meteorology formally at Penn State University. He started the EPWA Facebook business page in 2010, then the EPAWA business in 2012…later becoming a weather consulting firm in 2018. Bobby resides in Whitehall Township, PA with his wife Monica and 4 boys.
