Daily Forecast Discussion

The front that brought our showers and thunderstorms yesterday continues to move away. Clouds to start today, then as high pressure builds in we will see increasing amounts of sunshine, An upper- level trough dives down from Ontario and passes north on Thursday, however that will lower heights enough that we could see a shower or thunderstorm in spots. At this point the Independence Day holiday looks very nice with abundant sunshine and low humidity.  The weekend looks mostly sunny, but it will be warmer and more humid.  The threat of showers and thunderstorms returns as we move into the new work week.
