Not as cold Tuesday, then a transient milder period ahead of a cold front Wednesday; colder returns afterwards…

It “moderates” a bit on Tuesday, but still mostly sunny cold and remaining below the freezing mark. Compared to yesterday’s brutal temperatures and wind chills, it will feel much much warmer, and winds will be light today. It starts off partly cloudy Tuesday evening, then clouds increase overnight.

A bigger jump in temperatures comes on Wednesday as winds shift to the south, but just in time for another frontal boundary, which brings rain showers to region on Wednesday. Some areas will start off with an icy icy mix initially Wednesday morning, but will quickly turn to rain. Wednesday night we’ll see periods of rain that continues into Thursday morning, and possibly ends as snow briefly Thursday morning. Partly to mostly sunny and colder conditions both Friday and Saturday. A fast-moving clipper system could bring some snow showers on Sunday, and another one right on its heels can bring more snow showers on Monday.
