Early AM snow showers, then clouds give way to sun… mostly dry week ahead, but cold temperatures remain…

After a very impressive winter storm that hit yesterday, some areas will see a parting shot this morning as the cold conveyor belt in association with our departing low ends as a burst of snow about 1 hour or so in duration, which could quickly apply a fresh coating to 1″ of snow. After that point, clouds will give way to sun. It remains on the cold side, but into the lower 40s this afternoon, and some snow melt will occur.

It does look like another partly to mostly sunny, but cold weekend will follow, and that theme persists into next week. There could be an isolated snow shower late Sunday night in spots, otherwise clouds will give way to sun in the afternoon. Tuesday and Wednesday are partly to mostly sunny, but remaining cold. Slight moderation back into the 40s on Thursday under mostly sunny skies.
