More clouds than sun over the weekend, but mostly dry… turning much warmer for most of next week…

Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected on Saturday, but remaining dry. An upper level ridge builds in over the weekend which will allow temperatures to climb into the 60s by Sunday. For Sunday, we’ll see mostly cloudy skies in advance of a weakening cold front, and a stray shower cannot be ruled out late in the day.

A spectacular day with mostly sunny skies and very mild/warm conditions is expected on Monday. Another system moving off to our south likely stays there, and partly cloudy skies to start may become mostly cloudy later on Tuesday, but remaining warm. A better chance for scattered showers exists on Tuesday night and at least Wednesday morning with a quick-moving system moving ahead of an incoming trough. A cold front on the lead of that trough moves through on Thursday with scattered PM showers possible, again after starting off partly cloudy earlier in the day. Returning to mostly sunny skies Friday, but breezy and much colder as the trough settles into the region.
