Northern NJ Forecast

Basic CMYK

Our northern NJ forecast region includes Bridgewater, Newark, Morristown, Sussex, Passaic, Union, Paterson & all surrounding areas. Forecasts are updated daily M-F and Saturday that covers both weekend days – not Sunday.

An upper-level trough and approaching and passing cold front will keep things unsettled to some degree across the area today into the night tonight. For tomorrow, surface high pressure brings some sun; but upper-level heights may still be just low enough to set off an isolated shower or two.  High pressure and rising heights brings sunshine Wednesday. Then as the next trough approaches and lowers heights Thursday we may see a shower or thunderstorm.  A cold front combined with a shortwave rotating around the aforementioned trough brings a decent chance for showers and thunderstorms Friday. While a shower cannot be ruled out Saturday, overall the upcoming weekend looks to feature sunshine with near-to slightly-below average temperatures.
