Northern NJ Forecast

Basic CMYK

Our northern NJ forecast region includes Bridgewater, Newark, Morristown, Sussex, Passaic, Union, Paterson & all surrounding areas. Forecasts are updated daily M-F and Saturday that covers both weekend days – not Sunday.

A slow-moving cold front will bring showers today, tapering off this afternoon.  We will be between systems tomorrow, but still expect more clouds than sun. Then for the midweek period we have two weak wave to deal one.  One Wednesday moving to our south, then another Thursday moving to our north.  I don’t see a lot of rain from these, but intermittent showers a good part of the time.  A break Friday, then as we head into the holiday weekend, things get tricky.  The GFS says is mostly sunny Saturday and partly sunny with the chance for a shower Sunday.  The European has a few showers each day, but not a wash out.  The GFS is coming off one of the most abysmal verification weeks I have ever seen for any model. Because of that and because its a holiday weekend I am leaning on the more pessimistic European.  But we will adjust as we go forward and things become more clear.
